An Open Hangar Door
The most frequently misspelled word in aviation is “hangar,” often confused with “hanger.” Two different things.
A “hanger” is a twisted bit of wire on which flight jackets are hung inside “hangars” where dreams are stored, and into which unsuspecting visitors are lured and quietly enriched. Here’s an AVBrief link to my article about just such a fated encounter with a distracted fellow pilot:
